a successful Annual Membership Meeting
Rain or shine, we’ve got you covered! That was the theme of the 2022 Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, May 18, at 4:30-7:45pm. It was held at the beautiful and historic Laurelhurst Club, as our first live event of the year! We had time to catch up, enjoy box suppers, and conduct important business.
Below is the list of business items members considered. All were passed, with a friendly amendment to one Program item.

*The membership passed a friendly amendment to replace the wording, “the Office of Community and Civic Life” with “the office responsible for Neighborhood Associations” in last item of the original motion. This allows for other changes to the name of the office in the future.

conducting League business, but also having fun.
Of course, this also was an opportunity to reconnect and enjoy being with League friends. There was plenty of time for informal conversations. This was also our major fundraising event of the year. And we raised almost $9,500, with an auction and some games.

-
- The Club has high ceilings, and we opened the windows, for excellent air circulation.
- There were also air purifiers.
- There was plenty of space between tables for social distancing.
- Masks were not required, but many members wore them for part of the meeting.
