The League is helping to “rock the vote” at a community music concert on Wednesday, September 18. Artichoke Community Music will host “The Hanging Chads” – five experienced folk-rockers – for a get-out-the-vote concert at their venue, 2007 SE Powell Blvd in Portland, from 7 to 9 pm (doors at 6:30). Attendees can register to vote on site with the help of our League volunteers. Purchase tickets ($15) online at artichokemusic.org or at the door. Proceeds benefit the League of Women Voters of Portland and Artichoke Community Music, two local nonprofits building community and encouraging you to use your voice this November!
