Our members also study local, state and national issues in depth, by researching written and online materials, visiting affected locations and interviewing experts. Some of our studies are available online. We also have podcasts of our community education events and voter resources.
Studies
The League of Women Voters only takes action on issues after in-depth studies that consider all perspectives. Our volunteer members devote time and insight into considering issues and writing reports about their findings. Only then do we discuss the issue, and come to a consensus about what our League position should be on the topic. It takes a long time but in ensures that we stand on solid principles whenever we take a stand.
