Thursday, May 22 at the Laurelhurst Club

Portland League members are invited to attend our Annual Membership Meeting on May 22 to celebrate Portland springing back as our new form of city government unfolds, we consolidate to a 501(c)3, and we welcome a new Board of Directors. 

Annual Membership Meetings are an important opportunity for members to have a say in the League’s leadership and direction for the coming year. It’s also an excellent time to meet other members and connect with old friends.

This year’s Annual Membership Meeting will be held at the Laurelhurst Club. Check-in will begin at 4:30, with the buffet meal at 5 pm. This event is designed to bring League members together to catch up, enjoy a catered buffet meal, and take care of important League business. The cost for the meal is $35, although members are welcome to attend without purchasing a meal. Registration is required and information is below.

LWVPDX will host an informational meeting on the proposed Bylaws and Amendments on Monday, May 8th from 1:30-2:30PM on Zoom. Location

The Laurelhurst Club is located at 3721 SE Ankeny St, Portland, OR 97214. The building is one block south of East Burnside Street and ½ block west of SE 39th Ave/Cesar Chavez Blvd, directly across the street from Laurelhurst Park. Parking can be limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Bus lines include the 20 Burnside/Stark and the 75 Cesar Chavez/Lombard.

IMPORTANT Cancellation and Refund Information:

Our final numbers for the caterer are due May 15, and our costs are based on the number of registrations on that day. If you have registered and learn you cannot attend, please notify the office by May 14 (info@lwvpdx.org), and you will receive a refund if you have paid. After May 14 all those who registered and have not cancelled will be expected to pay, even if they do not attend.
