Anyone age 16 and over is eligible to join the League. We encourage all people (including, but not only, women voters) to become members. The LWV is a grassroots organization. Members may fully participate in League activities and help decide on League priorities. Some meetings are open only to members and invited guests.

The League of Women Voters of Portland relies on donations from people like you to fund our voter education and advocacy activities. Your gift will extend our volunteers’ efforts to empower citizens, inform voters, and make democracy work. If you are already a member of the League–thank you!–but know that the bulk of your membership dues go to the state and national Leagues for their important work, whereas your donation will stay here in Portland.
