  • Make an online donation.
  • Mail a check, payable to LWVPDX, P.O. Box 3491, Portland, Oregon 97208-3491.
  • Donate through a Donor-Advised Fund.
  • Monthly giving—regular monthly donations provide a consistent and predictable revenue stream for LWVPDX and allows you to spread your financial support throughout the year.
  • Donate Appreciated Securities—by donating appreciated securities that you have owned for more than one year, you may avoid capital gains tax and qualify for an income tax charitable deduction for the current market value of the securities.
  • Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA—if you are 70.5 or older, you can make an annual contribution directly from your IRA account. QCDs may be excluded from your taxable income and qualify toward your required minimum distribution.
  • Include the LWVPDX in your Will or Estate Planning—you can specify the gift as a set dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or assets like stocks or real estate.
  • Employer Matches—ask your employer to match your contribution and double your impact! Please inquire at your company and email info@lwvpdx.org to let us know what to expect.
  • Memorial & Tribute Gifts—support the LWVPDX while remembering a loved one or paying tribute to a friend. Include a note so we know who your gift is in honor of.

The LWVPDX works on issues that affect the livability of our communities. We serve the people of Multnomah County through our in-depth studies of issues, recorded panel discussions, voter service, and advocacy.
