League members and guests are invited to our annual Media Lunch, on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 11:30-1:30
Valentine’s Day is also the League’s 104th birthday and Oregon’s 165th birthday.
Public radio and Axios Portland journalist Emily Harris will be our moderator, with Willamette Week reporter Sophie Peel, Portland Business Journal managing editor Andy Giegerich, and The Oregonian reporter Jayati Ramakrishnan sharing their views on “Loving Portland: What We Value, The Stories We Tell, and How We Move Forward.”
This is a member event. There will be time for socializing as well as for audience questions.

This event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at PSU’s University Place, 310 SW Lincoln Street, in the second-floor Columbia Falls Ballroom. We will socialize starting at 11:30 and enjoy an Asian-themed buffet lunch, accommodating most dietary needs. The program begins at noon.
The Orange Line MAX station at Third and Lincoln is just outside the front door, and the Portland Streetcar stops at Third and Harrison. There is also on-site parking for $3/hour and street parking.

- Pay at the door with cash, check, or credit card
- Pay with a check sent to LWV of Portland, PO Box 3491, Portland OR 97208-3491
IMPORTANT Cancellation and Refund Information:
- Our final numbers for the caterer are due on February 9, and our costs are based on the number of registrations on that day. If you have registered and learn you cannot attend, please notify the office before February 9 (email@example.com), and you will receive a refund if you have paid. After February 9, all those who registered and have not cancelled will be expected to pay, even if they do not attend.
