2021 Legislative Session: League members will follow legislative committee meetings and may testify on proposed legislation, according to our advocacy positions. Likewise, LWVPDX members will follow the meetings of the Portland City Council and the Multnomah County Commission.

February 14, 2021 – The 101st anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters! We have accomplished a lot and are still very active in Empowering Voters and Defending Democracy.

During January and February 2021, LWVPDX members will be working on “program planning” for our 2021-22 League year. This involves planning for in-depth studies of current critical issues and topics for civic education events.

April 2021: LWVPDX will prepare voting guides and videos of candidate interviews and/or forums for school board and special district candidates running in the May 2021 election.
