The Portland Metro Region’s transportation infrastructure is the framework for the Region, critical to its economic health and that of Oregon. The League of Women Voters of Portland will welcome two of the Region’s leading transportation experts to its December meeting.

and that of Oregon.
The League of Women Voters of Portland
will welcome two of the Region’s leading transportation experts to its December
meeting.
Susie Lahsene, Senior Manager for Transportation and Land Use Policy for the Port of Portland and Andy Cotugno, Senior Policy Advisor to the Metro Council and Chief Operating Officer will address transportation and its many aspects.
Metro and the Port have distinct but complimentary roles in the planning and execution of the Region’s transportation infrastructure. Lahsene and Cotugno will discuss their collaborative relationship as well as the basic components of the system from their distinct perspectives. Condition, improvement needs and funding prospects will be discussed.
The League of Women Voters is a public policy organization. This event is part of the League’s work to stay informed about the ability of the public sector to meet growing demands in the midst of budget stress at all levels of government.
The event is free and open to the public.
