League of Women Voters Presents Ballot Measure Information
Speakers representing the pro and con positions on selected state and local ballot measures will appear.
This forum will be on Oct 12th, at 7:00 pm in the first floor board room of the Multnomah County Building at 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland
Measures included are:
State of Oregon
· Measure 73 Law enforcement; Increased minimum sentence for some sex crimes and DUIs
· Measure 76 Environment; Renews dedication of 15% of lottery proceeds to parks.
City of Portland
· 26-108 City public campaign financing for Mayoral, Commissioner, Auditor candidates
· 26-117 General obligation bonds for fire vehicles and emergency response infrastructure
The League of Women Voters will moderate the forum. The event is free, and the public is invited to attend. Ample street parking is nearby.
The forum will be recorded and aired on local access cable television. A schedule of replays of the forum will be posted on the League’s website (lwvpdx.org).

Election Day is November 2nd. Ballots will be mailed to voters on October 15th. Completed ballots must be received at an official drop-off site by 8 p.m. on November 2nd.
The forum is presented by the League of Women Voters of Portland Education Fund.
