The League of Women Voters of Portland, with co-sponsors Reed College and the Oregon Center for Public Policy, will host a panel of tax experts on April 25 to examine the history of state and local tax systems and the current realities of developing and adopting tax programs that pay for government.

Speakers representing the pro and con positions on local ballot measures will appear at a forum moderated by the League of Women Voters on Thursday, October 4, at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the Multnomah Building, 501 S.E.
