LWV Portland Visits the Bull Run Water Shed
In September, a group of League members and friends visited the Bull Run Water Shed with representatives of the Portland Water Bureau
BULL RUN WATERSHED FIELD TRIP on Sept. 28th was organized through the City of Portland Water Bureau. Briggy Thomas was our leader for the 21 participants, and kept us well informed on all aspects of drinking water, where it comes from, and its environment. It was an excellent educational experience on a comfortable bus in a pristine watershed on a beautiful fall day, and a good follow-up to the LWVOR Water Study.
