General Meeting: Media Lunch

Speaker: Bill Lunch, Professor (Emeritus) in Political Science, Oregon State University; award-winning broadcast journalist and Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) Political Analyst since 1988.

Lunch: $19 -- Coffee Only $2.  Pay at the door.

Professor Lunch has written on national politics and political institutions and on political culture and controversies in Oregon and the Northwest, particularly concerning the influence of extremist groups in the region. He has been OPB's Political Analyst since 1988. He has received awards for excellence in commentary and analysis from the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Press Club.

Professor Lunch will be discussing recent changes in the Oregon and Portland political environment and trends for the future.
