The League of Women Voters of Portland and community partners present a forum for candidates for the Portland School Board. All candidates for each office have been invited to participate. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of Portland.
School Board candidates invited to participate include:
- Zone 4: Steve Buel, Martin Gonzalez, and Rita Moore
- Zone 5: Scott Bailey and Pam Knowles
- Zone 6: Trudy Sargent
The event is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Portland Public Schools will broadcast the forum live on Channel 28 at 7 p.m.
Community Partners participating with the League include the Portland School District, the Portland Schools Foundation, the Portland Council PTA, and Community & Parents for Public Schools of Portland.
